Let the tens and the units digits be x and y
Number = (10x + y)
According to the Question,
= 10x + y = 4(x + y) + 3
= 10x + y = 4x + 4y + 3
= 6x - 3y = 3
= 2x - y = 1 ---- eqn 1
Also,
10x + y + 18 = 10y + x
= 9x - 9y = -18
= x - y = -2 ---- eqn 2
Subtracting 2 from 1, we get
= x = 3
Putting x's value in 1, we get
= 2x - y = 1
= 2 × 3 - y = 1
= y = 6 - 1
= y = 5
Number = (10x + y) = 10 × 3 + 5 = 30 + 5 = 35.
