I have a doubt
I had to give the general solution of x:
sin(x) = -1/2
According to NCERT , the answer is
x = n(π) + (-1)^n.7π/6
But my answer is
x = n(π) - (-1)^n.π/6
My answer should also be correct because though for samr values of `n', different angles are coming in both answers but they are same for differnt values like for first answer if you put n = 0, angle is 7π/6 and in second it is -π/6 but for n=2, the second one also has 7π/6 and thus they will get same angles like this.
And ultimately, for any value of n in either answer sin(x) is always equal to
-1/2
