The colour of copper sulphate solution ( colour: blue) changes into a green solution of ferrous sulphate (FeSO4) because of the displacement of copper from its sulphate and getting exchanged by iron . 2 observations are :-
1) Red deposits of iron settles down at the bottom of the vessel or test tube etc.....
2) Colour of the solution changes from blue to green.......
