remaining money spent on house rent = 12000×3/10 = 3600
remaining money spent on education of children = 8400×5/21= 2000
So total amount which is left after all the expenses = 16000-4000+3600+2000=6400
remainder 16000-4000= 12000
money spent on house rent =12000x3/10=3600
remainder =12000-3600=8400
money spent on education of children =8400x5/21=2000
money left after all the expenses = 16000-(4000+3600+2000)
=16000-9600
=6400
