No. of Red & Green Bulbs = 25% + 15% = 40%
No. of Yellow Bulbs = 100% - 40% = 60%
60% × 3900 = 60/100 × 3900 = 2340
25% bulb used were green
so, number of green bulbs = 3900×25/100
= 39×25
= 975 green bulbs
Similarly,
15% bulbs used were red
so, number of red bulbs = 3900×15/100
= 39×15
= 585 red bulbs
Now,
Number of yellow bulbs used = ( 3900 - green bulbs + red bulbs)
=(3900 - 975 + 585)
=3900 - 1560
=2340 yellow bulbs
