Let x be the required fraction.
Then we got,
[tex] \frac{6}{7} + x = \frac{3}{5} [/tex]
[tex]x = \frac{3}{5} - \frac{6}{7} [/tex]
Taking LCM of 5 and 7,We got 35.
[tex] \frac{3 \times 7 - 6 \times 5}{35} = x[/tex]
[tex] \frac{21 - 30}{35} = x[/tex]
[tex] \frac{ - 9}{35} = x[/tex]
Hence -9/35 should be added to 6/7 to get 3/5.
