[tex]\sf A \: tank \: is \: \frac{3}{5} \: full \: of \: water .[/tex]
Let the common multiple be y .
Thus ,
3y of the tank is been filled and the capacity of the tank is 5y .
50 litres of more are required to fill the tank .
So ,
2x = 40 L
[tex]x = \frac{40}{2} [/tex]
Now,
5x = 5 × 20
= 100 L
Capacity of tank = 5x= 5× 20 = 100 L
Hence , the tank can hold 100 L
