Answer
The narrator asked the fellow passenger , If he could tell him that the girl kept her hair long or short . The fellow passenger replied that he didn't notice her hair because her eyes were more attractive than her hair . But they were of no use to her as she was completely blind.
The narrator had thought man things about the girl earlier , one being , that she was blessed with sense of sight and was able to appreciate the beauty outside the train window.
