The general of the Japanese Army was very sick and ill. Dr Sadao was one of the best surgean and doctor of Japan. So if the General have any serious ailments dr. sadao was kept to check up on him. and keep him alive. so it was for the generals own selfishness and his health and dr was not sent to the battlefield where the war was going on between the Americans amd Japanese.
