Given :-
To find :-
Solution :-
● Let first find the exact weight of rice in First and second bag, so we need to make mixed fraction to simple fraction. So,
¤ First bag = [tex]\sf{76 \dfrac{5}{6} =\dfrac{461}{6}kg}[/tex]
¤ Second bag = [tex]\sf{42 \dfrac{2}{3} =\dfrac{128}{3}kg }[/tex]
● Now total weight of both bags is :-
[tex]{\sf{Total \: weight \: of \: both \: bags = \cfrac{461}{6} + \cfrac{128}{3} }} \\ \\ { = \sf{ \frac{461}{6} + \frac{128 \times 2}{3 \times 2} }} \\ \\ { = \sf{ \frac{461}{6} + \frac{256}{6} }} \\ \\ { = \sf{ \frac{461 + 256}{6} }} \\ \\ { \underline{\boxed {\sf{ = \frac{717}{6}kg }}}}[/tex]
● Here 5/7 of total weight 717/6 kg of rice is sold. So total amount of rice sold is :-
[tex]{\sf{ \implies{ \cfrac{5}{7} \times \cfrac{717}{6} }}} \\ \\ {\sf{ \implies{ \cfrac{3585}{42} }}} \\ \\ {\boxed {\sf{ \implies{ \cfrac{1195}{14} \: kg}}}}[/tex]
So 1195/ 14 kg of rice is sold .
● Now Remaining weight of rice is :-
[tex]{\sf{\ratio{\longmapsto{ \cfrac{717}{6} - \cfrac{1195}{14} }}}} \\ \\ { \underline{ \boxed{ \red{\sf{\ratio{\longmapsto{ \cfrac{239}{7} = {\boxed{34 \frac{1}{7} \: kg}} }}}}}}}[/tex]
