qn: A car travels with a speed of 50kmh in the 1st 30 minutes and 100kmh in the next 30 minutes. What is the total distance covered by the car?
ANS: 1st 30mins
speed of car= 50km/hr
time taken= 30mins= 1/2hr
distance travelled = speed×time
50×1/2
=25km
2nd 30mins
speed of car = 100km/hr
time taken = 1/2 hr (30mins)
distance travelled=speed× time
100×1/2
=50km
total distance travelled by car= distance travelled by car in 1st 30mins + distance travelled by car in 2nd 30mins
=50+25
=75km
the answer is 75km
