in a convex lens image is of the same size os the object when it is placed at the first focus. and the image is formed at the second focus.
a) .since the object is kept at 60 cm from the pole so the image will also be formed at a distance of 60 from pole behind the lens .
b) R = 60 cm
so f = R/2 = 60/2
30 cm
