Since 2 squares are put together, a rectangle is formed
with length = 8cm+8cm=16cm
breadth=8cm
Now,
perimeter of rectangle
=2(length+breadth)
=2(16cm+8cm)
=2×24cm
=48cm
Area of rectangle
=length×breadth
=16cm×8cm
=128cm²
