The edge of the cube is 6 cm in length.
Hence, when we place the cube on the page, the distance of the letters from the top surface is the real depth of the object i.e., 6 cm.
Now, we know that,
H = Real depth Apparent depth
Apparent depth = Real depth 6 H 1.5 = 4 cm Therefore, the letters will appear at a distance of 4 cm from the top surface of the cube when viewed from above.
