After complete oxidation of glucose, the number of ATP molecules formed is 38.However, since 2 ATP were required in the beginning of the reaction( in glycolysis) , this gets balance with the total ATP produced and so the net ATP produced is 36.
This is produced together from all the three main processes- Glycolysis, Krebs Cycle, Terminal Oxidation( Electron transport chain).
