The full name of Robert Frost, was Robert Lee Frost, he was born on- 26 March 1874 and died on- 29 January 1963 .He was an American poet who was admired for his depictions of the rural life of New England, his realistic verse portraying ordinary people in everyday situations and his command of American colloquial speech,
Frost’s father was William Prescott Frost, Jr., he was a journalist with ambitions of establishing a career in California, and he and his wife moved to San Francisco in 1873 .
Her husband died from tuberculosis in 1885 . A top student in his class, , with whom he had already fallen in love, he shared honours.
His style of writing
Robert and Elinor shared a deep interest in poetry. Robert continued to labour on the poetic career he began in a small way during high school; he first achieved professional publication in 1894 .He wrote various types of poetry. He like a quatrain with simple rhymes like abab and abcb. He rarely wrote in free verse, but was known to write a lot in blank verse. Frost wrote short poems and long poems, some long enough to take up several pages in a book.

His achievements
His achievements were enhanced by New Hampshire (1923), which received the Pulitzer Prize for poetry. That prize was awarded to Frost’s Collected Poems (1930) and A Further Range (1936) and A Witness Tree (1942).
Other poetry include Bush (1947), and In the Clearing (1962). Harvard (1939–43), Dartmouth (1943–49), and Amherst College (1949–63), and in his old age he gathered honours and awards from every quarter. .
Robert Frost's legacy
He wrote in traditional forms, but his language and themes, such as doom or the solitude of humans in nature or society, were very innovative for his time. He was known as an important American poet during his life, winning a total of four Pulitzer Prizes.
