Because of the low and harsh climate growth rate of plant are low and mostly small plants grow like dwarf shrubs, grasses, mosses, lichens. So, tundra biome soil is unfit for growing plant and vegetation is limited in the tundra biome. Extremely cold climate. Biotic diversity is very low.
