a)The particles in solids are held together by strong forces and they have more kinetic energy which gives them a fix volume and shape.
b)The particles in a liquid are held together by forces which are not as strong as those in solids.However,still they are atrong enough to give the liquid a fixed volume but not a fixe shape bcuz they can flow.
c)The particles in a gas neither have fixed volume,nor shape,because the kinetic energy they consume is very less and hence the take up the shape of the container and iccupy as much space as given to them.
