Number of moles = given mass/ molar mass.
Given= 64g.
In oxygen molecule, the molar mass of O2 = 32g.
Hence, no of moles = 2.
Since, 32g oxygen = 6.022x10^23 molecules
64g = 64 x 6.022x10^23/32 molecules = 12.044x10^23 molecules.
Oxygen, has an atomic number of 8 and mass number 16.
Number of protons = the atomic number = 8.
