Yes, but only to a certain extent. You may have ADHD, which would cause you to be either fidgety and focused or unfocused. I have had ADHD since I was 5 (I'm now 20), and even on medication I am still a little fidgety. In class I always play with my pencil or pen or eraser or anything I can get my hands on, but I am fully focused on what the teacher is talking about or teaching, and this is on my medication. When I forget to take my medication I get super fidgety and I literally cannot focus for more than a minute at a time, even if I am playing with a pencil or anything like that. At home, I have gotten into the habit of playing with my beard just so my hands stay busy and I can focus on anything I may be doing. But there is a difference between fidgety and ADHD for sure, so I would see if you can get evaluated for ADHD or any of the other mental disabilities that may cause you to be very fidgety.
