*To clean wooden floors, use a broom and sweep the dirtied area thoroughly. Follow up by mopping the area with warm water that has some water based cleaner added to it.
*To clean wooden furniture, use a lint-free soft cloth to wipe over the dirty area. Avoid feather dusters as some of them may have sharp quills that could cause scratches.
*For other surfaces such as wooden vessels, use homemade cleaners by making a mix of the juice of half a lemon along with a tablespoon of water and olive oil. Remember to add one portion of vinegar for every three portions of olive oil.
