Conduction needs a medium to transfer energy.
Radiation does not need any medium.
Conduction occurs only in solids.
Radiation can occur anywhere.
Ex. conduction = When we put one end of a iron rod on fire we find that the other end also becomes hot. This is because of conduction.
Ex. Radiation = The sun's heat energy reaches the Earth because of Radiation.
Hope it helps dear friend ☺️✌️✌️
heat travels through the particals making the molecules of the object or the particles to pass the heat to other particles. cannot take place in vacuum.
ratiation of heat:
the particals does not move where as radiation can also take place in vacuum.
