Bragg's Law is a fundamental principle in the field of X-ray crystallography. It describes the relationship between the angles at which X-rays are diffracted by a crystal lattice and the spacing between the crystal planes. According to Bragg's Law, the path difference between the X-rays reflected from adjacent crystal planes is equal to an integer multiple of the wavelength of the X-rays. This constructive interference leads to the formation of a diffraction pattern that can be used to determine the atomic arrangement within a crystal. Bragg's Law has been instrumental in advancing our understanding of the structure of various materials, including crystals and biological molecules.
