When passing though the woods the author saw two roads diverge into a yellow wood. He says he was sorry he could'nt travel both and stood for a long time trying to decide which path to take. He describes the first road as a road usually traveled by people who come here wheareas the other was grassy and wanted wear and he says that both in the morning equally lay in leaves which had not been stepped on. But he chooses to leave the first road and take the one less traveled by.
