negative effects of green revolution :----
the environment was negatively affected through increased pollution and erosion, more pressure on water systems, and higher rates of energy consumption.
positive effects of green revolution :--
it helps in Increase in production, specially of wheat and rice, increasing cropping intensity, growing more cash crops, food security, etc have been some positive effects of the green revolution on India agriculture sector.
Positives:
1 - Increase in Production / yield.
2 - Advantage to farmers
3 - Better land use by employing two and three crop pattern.
Negative:
1- Degradation of land
2 - Weeds have increased
3 - Pest infestation has gone up
