Here is the labeled diagram outlining a simple microscope. To draw the ray diagram, place the object between the focus and the lens. Consider only two rays of incident light. One through the optical centre of the lens and the other that passes through the focus. Take the distance between the either two focuses and the lens sufficient enough so that the image is formed not too much behind the lens. Use the dotted line rays behind the mirror as well as for the image to indicate the image is virtual.
