☆ In French Society, women weren't treated as equal as men. They were considered passive citizens.
☆ Women used to perform household work early but as soon as they began to protest; rights such as compulsory education, divorce were given.

☆ They struggled a lot for the "right to vote" which was finally given to them in 1946.
