Sexual reproduction in flowering plants involves the production of male and female gametes, the transfer of male gametes to the female ovules is a process called pollination. After pollination, fertilization happens and the ovules grow into seeds within a fruit. Hope it helps.Flowers contains the reproductive structures : stamens(male) and carpel(female).stamens produce pollen grains which contains two sperm cells while carpels contain the egg cells.seeds develop following pollination, which is the transfer of pollen from a male part of a plant to a female part of plant after which male and female gamets fuse with each other enabling fertillisation then ovules grow into seeds within a fruit.
