Find the area of an equilateral triangle with side 8 cm
Given side =8 cm
we know that
[tex] \bf area \: of \: an \: equilateral \: triangle = \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} {(side)}^{2} [/tex]
[tex] \bf = \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} {(8)}^{2} [/tex]
[tex] \bf = \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} (64)[/tex]
[tex] \bf = 16 \sqrt{3} [/tex]
∴ are of an equilateral triangle =27.712 cm^2

\bf = \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} (64 \: cm) \\ \\
\bf = 16 \sqrt{3} \: \: cm \: {}^{2} \\ \\ \bf \: = 27.71 \: cm \: {}^{2} \\ \\
\bf \: ∴ area \: of \: an \: equilateral \: triangle =27.712 cm^2[/tex]
