A dry cell consists of a metal container in which a low-moisture electrolyte paste covers the graphite rod or a metal electrode. Generally, the metal container will be zinc, whose base acts as a negative electrode (anode), and a carbon road acts as a positive electrode (cathode).

Answer:
A dry cell contains dry solid or semi solid ingredients.
It consists of a zinc container which contain a paste of Ammonium Chloride. Inside the zinc container is a cardboard container which contains manganese dioxide powered and mixed with carbon.
The innermost part of the cell contains a carbon rod with a metal cap. the cell is covered and steel accepted the metal cap of the carbon Road coma which sticks out at one and, and the flat base.
The cardboard has tiny microscopic holes and a chemical reaction takes place between the Chemicals on either side of it via these holes. this chemical reaction generates electric current in a dry cell.
