Antacids contains bases such as aluminium hydroxide, Al(OH)3 and magnesium hydroxide, Mg(OH)2 to neutralise the excess acid in the stomach. Vinegar is used to cure wasp stings that are alkaline in nature. Baking powder is used to cure bee stings and ant bites that are acidic in nature.
