On the 7th we are gonna take group photos at the Bellagio at Las vegas. It's a Wedding picture. Tips for Dslr setting? Should I set it at f/9 ? Will that capture everyone and make it sharp? I'm using a Canon t3i with 18-55mm. My only lens. So Please give me some tips on taking group pictures. Like what iso, shutter speed, f stop. Things like those. Also it will be outside and inside.

Group photo settings?

You set the lens aperture depending on what you want in the photo. If you have a group that goes a few rows deep, you need a decent depth of field, so f/8 - f/11 would be appropriate. If you want the background in focus, you may go to f/16 or higher (I don't have the kit lens, I don't know the max). If you don't want it in focus, you would go wider open, something in the 4-5.6 range.
Since the people will be standing still, you can shoot at 1/60 or faster. If the lighting is poor, you can go down to 1/30 if you have a steady hand. Set the ISO to get the rest of the exposure settings you want. I typically shoot no faster then ISO 200 or 400 unless I have to.
You'll need to pick ISO, aperture and shutter speed to ensure reciprocity.... As no person on here can see into the future and predict light levels, I suggest you get out and start practicing with your camera to ensure the best setting... I can tell you that a small aperture of f/9 probably won't be necessary unless there's a large distance between the front and back rows.
I do hope that you are not the main wedding photographer, for your sake as well as the happy couple.
