Let's calculate the total speed ..
Case 1
Time = 20 min = 1/3 of hour
Distance = speed × time
= 25 × 1/3
=8.3km
Case 2
Time = 40min = 2/3 of hour
Distance = speed × Time
= 40×2/3

Total Distance= 8.3+80/3 = 34.96
