distance/time = speed
Now, considering the first case where
speed = 4 km/hr
time = 2 + 3/4 = 11/4 hours(we reached this solution by converting 45 minutes into hours)
using the equation
distance = speed*time
distance = 4 * (11/4) km
distance = 11 km
Now in second case,
distance = 11 km

again using the equation
time = distance/speed
