Activity: Take two cells of any kind, a key (switch) and a bulb.
Let's begin: Connect the cathode of the cell to the cathode of the other cell. We will observe that current will not flow and the bulb will not glow, also if we do the opposite i.e. anode to anode the bulb will not glow, but if we do the inverse i.e. Cathode to Anode current will flow and the bulb will glow.
