According to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction...
1. An emf is induced inside the circuit whenever there is a mutual motion between both the circuits which changes the magnetic flux and hence a current is induced.
2. The magnitude of emf is directly proportional to the rate of change of flux linked with the coil multiplied by number of coils.
