Nowadays for Asthma so many treatments are there. But nothing to worry about. You said you have wheezing problem? that can be stopped by taking medicines, and avoiding cold items. I heard there is a treatment in Hyderabad, by swallowing a live fish in the mouth. as per news, so many people have been cured asthma by this treatment. You can try for that.
Any allopathy medicines are curing for certain period for asthma ( vising ) i too had same problem few years back. now i feel completely alright because i do prana yoga regularly ( related to breathing ) try it and see the result with in few days.
Whenever you have taken things which does not suit you, drink hot water before going to bed. Do not go to bed immedaitely after eating ice cream or drinking cike. Keep minimum one hour gap.
As far as icecream (milk products) if they make you wheeze then stay away from them, you have a dairy intolerance. Also at night avoid caffeine and sleep with your head elevated.
Dairy products make me wheeze. I avoid them.
