I am looking for good contacts but kinda cheap I herd about sofmed contacts and I want to know if they're good, if they dry your eyes out and if hurt your eyes. I want to have good contacts cause I want to keep my eyes safe. so can anyone help me with this.

They are no better or worse than other lenses. 38 stands for 38% water which is a low water lens that makes them more durable but not as comfortable as lenses that are over 50% water.
38% usually denotes polymacon material.
its not "bad", but its certainly old technology. bausch & lomb released the 1st polymacon lens in the early 70's. so...nearly 40 year old technology?
plenty of newer/better stuff out there IMO and the opinion of most eyecare professionals
