1st u have to calculate the total frequency that is N then find N/2.then find the class just greater than N/2 will be the median class
Eg:
x:0-10,10-20,20-30,30-40
f: 8,6,10,6
So cumulative frequency will be 8,14,24,30
N=30,N/2=15,cf just greater than 15 is 24
So median class=20-30
Mode
The class which have greater frequency is the mode class
In the above eg, mode class is also=20-30,
Because it has the greater frequency than the other class (frequency=10)
