2. Plants have pigment called chlorophyll which converts carbon dioxide , water and sunlight into food . Animals don;t have this pigment and hence can't make their own food.
3. Such plants generally grow in soil that has less quantity of nitrogen and hence has to take nitrogen from external sources like insect.
4. Digestive system is used to break complex food into simple particles that can be absorbed by body . Plant make their own food and these food is simple and hence don't need digestive system
2.Animals can't make food from CO2 , sunlight, water because we do not have chlorophyll to synthesized sunlight and we do not have the mechanism plants have in their body
3. pitcher plant go through the process of photosynthesis but still they eat plants because they are not able to fulfill their nutirents by the process of photosynthesis due to which they eat insects to fulfill their other needs( it's same like us when we start eating egg to fulfill protein deficiency)
4.They do not have a digestive system like us because the food they eat is already broken down into smaller units(glucose) so they do not need a digestive system because the food is already digested.
