But there is no step by step explanation
Answer:
5
Step-by-step explanation:
3^(2x-8)/225 = 5^3/5^x
3^(2x-8)/(3*3*5*5) = 5^(3-x)...(a^m/a^n = a^(m-n)}
3^(2x-8)/(3^2*5^2)= 5^(3-x)
3^(2x-8-2)*5^(-2) = 5^(3-x)
3^(2x-10)*5^(-2) = 3^0*5^(3-x) ....(3^0=1)
equating exponents of same base we get
2x-10 = 0 and 3-x = -2
on solving one eqn we get
2x-10=0
2x=10
x=5
this value of x satisfied second equation also as 3-5 = -2 = RHS.
Hence, our solution is 5
