If you are a 48 kg person on earth , you will be a 48kg person on the moon . Mass is constant and does not change.
But on earth where acceleration due to gravity is 9.81m/s² ( an accepted value for working) then your weight on earth will be
Weight = mass * acceleration due to gravity
weight = 48kg * 9.81 m/s² = 471N
And on the moon where acceleration due to gravity = 1.625 m/s²
Weight on moon = 48kg * 1.625m/s² = 78N

keep smiling ☺.....
Explanation:
An object has a mass of 60 kg on earth What are the mass and weight of this object on the surface of the moon where the acceleration due to gravity is only 1/6 of what it is on Earth
The force that mass exerts due to gravity changes. The force of gravity on her moon is approximately 1/6th thst of earth. So therefore the force or weight of a 60kg mass will be 10kg off weight (not converting to Newton's ofcourse).
