It depends on the drag coefficient of the body. Practically, if the mass is increased, the body might increase in size, thus increasing sectional density and more air to displace. However, if the mass is doubled and the velocity is halved, the momentum will be divided by 4. This is easily explained as the following;
The weight is doubled thus creating more disposable inertia.
But the velocity has halved, in turn making the body slow down quicker but recompensating slightly with the greater inertia but this recompensation isn’t enough to compensate for all energy losses.
