My inverter is "Microtek 800 VA". I am not sure about its full name, but its packaging says "UPS". (Earlier Microtek inverters were labelled as INVERTER, but now they are all labelled as UPS")
I purchased it last year.
My battery is "Exide Mega Inva 1500". It is 3yrs 3 months old.
My problem is that ever since I installed it in my new house, the battery gets heated too much. It did not get heated this much earlier in my old house. The installation is OK. Charging time and backup are normal. My only problem is overheating of battery.
Note:- earlier this inverter+battery was kept in a dark room with no sunlight. Now, it is in a room with direct sunlight coming through the front door. Sunlight doesn't fall on the inverter or battery. Still, it gets hot quickly. We don't use any heavy power drawing applicanes.
Also, is there a risk of battery explosion? Or, inverter blast or something like that?
What could I do to keep my battery cooler than it is now?

It's a UPS, not an inverter, which is why it is labeled so.
An inverter converts a low voltage DC to line voltage AC, and is part of a UPS. Other parts include the battery and battery charger.
You have to explore why the battery is overheating. It could be the battery is old and needs replacing. It could be normal. Or the charger could be overcharging it. First measure the actual temperature and then contact the service department of Microtek.
