Is exothermic reaction only that reaction where heat is released. What if other energies except heat is released in a reaction? Is that exothermic reaction nonetheless? Similarly, this question applies for exothermic reactions as well.

so my answer here is that if there related any other form of energy , and there is no (along with it ) relase of heat energy , and also the reaction doesn't produce heat energy from the other evolved energy after ,, then reaction isn't an exothermic reaction .
as "thermic" in "exothermic" is a word used to define any form of heat energy (sources can differ , the souce can be light , nucler energy ,etc.).
[AND I WASN'T ABLE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU WANTED TO SAY IN THE OTHER PART
OR IS THERE EVEN ANY OTHER PART IN THE QUESTION]
