I just installed Windows 98 SE on a freshly formatted 6.5gig hard drive. The only software installed is the drivers for the onboard video and audio chipsets. And of course the MagicDisk and Virtual CloneDrive software. Both of these software packages claim to work on Windows 98 and both software programs fail to install/turn on virtual drives when I try to do so. Is there something else I need for Windows 98 SE before these will work?
MagicDisk and Virtual CloneDrive both fail to install virtual drives on fresh install of Windows 98 SE. Help?

If they do really support it, you would probably need all the 98 updates released to run them. Since it is no longer supported I doubt you will get any now.
