Sasha had 2 x as many toys as Oleg. Which means Sasha(S) = 2 L
Dima had 40 more toys than Oleg .Which means Dima (D) = 40 + L
Therefore Oleg + Sasha + Dima = 600 toys.
Therefore L + 2L + 40 +L =600 toys
Collect the like terms..
4L + 40 = 600 toys
4L = 600 - 40 toys
4L = 560 toys
Divide both sides by 4 ...
