Pakistan, under Pervez Musharraf could not be known as a democracy.
The reasons are as follows :-
1. Pakistan, under Pervez Musharraf underwent a military rule.
2. A democratically elected government was thrown off and a dictatorship was established under his rule.
3. Because of dictatorship government, the elections were banned and Pervez Musharraf ruled for as long as he could.
4. He refused to pay any sort of attention to the military officers.
5. He was unfair and played dirty tricks in order to win the Referendum of 2002.
