Let two numbers be x & y
x−y=26 ____ (1)
x=3y ____ (2)
substituting (2) in (1) we get
3y−y−26
2y=26
y=13
x=3y from (2)
x=3×13
x=39
we need to find sum of two numbers
x+y=39+13
=52
