Let M be the point where radius meet chord
To find-- AB
[tex] \orange{radius \: = 10cm}[/tex]
OA = OB = 10cm
[tex] \red{distance = 6cm}[/tex]
OM= 6cm
In ∆ OAM-
Use pythagoras theorem:-
[tex] \bf\blue{ = > bm = 8cm}[/tex]
Similarly,
[tex] \bf \blue{ = > am = 8cm}[/tex]
So,
Length of chord = Am + Bm
= 8 +8
=16cm
[tex] \purple{ \frak{so \: length \: of \: chord \: ab \: is \: 16cm}}[/tex]
